Dr. Dawn, Dr. Regina, Dr. Princy, Dr. Sara and Dr. Nhung’s skills go far beyond superior educations and training; they treat each child with real compassion. They treat each patient as they would their own child. All constantly seek the latest technologies and advances through continuing education.

DAWN

DAWN SOSNICK, DDS

Dr. Dawn Sosnick earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. She completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Schneider Children’s Hospital (now Cohen), Long Island Jewish Medical Center as Chief Resident. Two years later, Dr. Dawn earned the distinction of becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) by meeting the AAPD’s demanding continuing education requirements. All of our doctors are board certified.

Dr. Dawn’s love for treating children has motivated her to stay active in the academic community. A professor at Stony Brook’s School of Dental Medicine she maintains hospital staff privileges at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where she lectures and teaches. Dr. Dawn served on the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s (AAPD) Oral Healthcare for Adolescents Committee. She also is a member of the Board of Directors of the Suffolk County Dental Society.

Dr. Dawn grew up in Tallahassee, Florida and graduated with a Bachelors of Music from Florida State University in 1996. Upon graduation she moved to New York. She decided to stay, despite her love of warmer weather, when she met her husband, Barry. She lives in Greenlawn with her husband, son and crazy puppy.

REGINA

REGINA HENDRICKS, DDS

Dr. Regina Hendricks was born and raised in New Hyde Park, New York. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Molloy College in 2003, where she received her BA in psychology. She went on to receive her Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in May of 2008. It was there she developed her passion as an advocate for children and the community.

As the Philanthropy Chairperson of the American Student Dental Association, Dr. Regina organized many community outreach events. From food drives to collecting toys and costumes for children living in a local homeless shelter, Dr. Regina continues to give back to the community. In the summer of 2007, Dr. Regina began a “life changing experience” (her words) when selected to bring dental care to underserved children and families in remote villages in Madagascar.

Dr. Regina received her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park, becoming chief resident in just her second year. Her extensive education includes treating children with special needs, dental phobias, and the medically compromised. Dr. Regina loves skiing, the beach, and roller coasters. An amateur chef, she enjoys cooking for family and friends when not visiting restaurants in Garden City, where she lives with her husband and three children, Lilian, Carter, and Matthew.

SARA

SARA WILINSKY, DDS

Dr. Sara Wilensky grew up on Long Island in Oceanside. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from Binghamton University in 2011, her Master of Arts in Biology from Binghamton University in 2012, and her Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine in 2016. She completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 2018, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Sara is a board certified pediatric dentist, she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). Dr. Sara is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. She participates in Give Kids A Smile and has provided dental care locally and internationally. In 2015, she traveled to Madagascar as part of a volunteer mission to provide dental care and education for the Malagasy people. Dr. Sara is an attending at Cohen Children’s Medical Center where she teaches dental residents every week.

Dr. Sara’s education and training has enabled her to provide dental care for children of all ages and patients with special health care needs. Her passion and enthusiasm for pediatric dentistry and teaching has allowed her to motivate and educate her patients and their parents about the importance of oral heath. Dr. Sara believes that creating a positive and fun experience for children at the dentist is important and will have a lasting impact on their overall health. Dr. Sara lives in Commack with her husband Jason and puppy Oliver.

PRINCY

PRINCY KURIAKOSE, DDS

Dr. Princy Kuriakose grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Georgia Institute of Technology and Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan.  She continued her education in an additional 3 year advanced graduate school training program in Orthodontics and obtained her Master of Science degree from University of Washington in Seattle. 

While in school, Dr. Princy has been involved in many scientific research projects and has published articles in journals. Dr. Princy is a Board-Certified Orthodontist, an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Northeastern Society of Orthodontists and continues her learning through Orthodontic conferences and continuing education courses. In her free time, Dr. Princy enjoys exploring new places with her husband & toddler, baking and staying active.

NHUNG

NHUNG QUAN, DDS

Dr. Nhung Quan was born and raised in Rockland County, NY. She knew she wanted to become an orthodontist while working for an orthodontist during her senior year of high school. She received her bachelor's degree in Economics from NYU and completed her dental and orthodontic education at NYU. Dr. Nhung has earned the additional distinction of being board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Nhung believes in patient-centered care. Developing trust and rapport is essential to delivering the best outcomes for her patients. She is gentle, kind and never hesitates to answer any questions. She understands that communication is vital for great results.

Dr. Nhung has spent time giving back to her community and those in need by volunteering with numerous organizations including Smile Train, MyFace, and an overseas outreach program to Chalchicomula de Sesma, Mexico.

She currently lives on the Upper East Side with her partner George and her puppy Luna. In her free time, Dr. Nhung enjoys spending time at the beach, hiking, fishing on Long Island, and going to Central Park with her puppy Luna.

She is an active member of the American Board of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, New York State Dental Association, and Suffolk County Dental Society.
